California GOP Convention, April 2016
The April 2016 California Republican Party Convention took place
in Burlingame, California. It was a chaotic event where Donald
Trump, Ted Cruz, and John Kasich courted delegates ahead of the
June 7 California primary. Because protesters successfully
blocked the main streets and security gates, Trump’s motorcade was
forced to make a U-turn. He had to hop a barrier and walk to a
back entrance
Inspired to work on climate by a conservative who wanted his son's vote
Tim Dec helped start the Silicon Valley chapter of the
Citizens Climate Lobby,
which promotes revenue-neutral
solutions to address the challenge of climate change.
