Along the road between the Republican convention in Cleveland and
the Democratic convention in Philadelphia, we stopped to chat with
a former coal miner, a Navy couple, and a hair dresser.
Proof that anything can happen anywhere at anytime
After 33 years underground mining coal, mostly on
his hands and knees under ceilings as low as 36 inches,
Jeff finally reached his dream three years ago of starting a
restaurant with his wife Paula. You can find their Lincoln Cafe
along route 30 in Buckstown Pennsylvania, about 2 miles from the
9/11 crash site of flight 93.
